"Common common." I said while struggling to pull out my bike. "I am coming" my grandma said when she was coming through the glass sliding door. I got on my bike and tried to start to balance. I could stay for a few seconds but had to put my foot down while my grandma was coming through the gate. "Hold on Josh I don't want you to fall down without anyone out here." she said. I waited for her to come and keep an eye on me. I stated to pedal one foot at a time on my silver bike around the driveway. I fell down a bunch of times getting little cuts and ended up getting bruises. It was worth it when I finally got big strides on my bike. "Josh your getting to get the hang of it." My grandma said with glee. After a while I kept on peddling and peddling until I could go all the way to the stop sign by my grandma's house. That night I went to sleep feeling like a champion.

My story is about how I learned to ride my bike on step at a time.
